Description
This course introduces students to the practice of creative writing in at least three genres (poetry and fiction, plus literary nonfiction and/or playwriting. It emphasizes the craft and technique of the genres through close reading of selected texts, and students compose their own creative works. The course may include a workshop component in which the students read and respond to the creative works of their peers.
