Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with fellow musicians through performance in musical ensembles.
- Demonstrate a competence of a primary instrument or voice at a minimum of an early intermediate level.
- Demonstrate competence in basic piano playing skills and an ability to transfer music theory concepts to the keyboard.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of fundamentals of music theory, as well as basic music sight reading and dictation skills.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the history and literature of western music.
